This Custom Crafted
Assateague lighthouse is manufactured by "The Lighthouse Man"
The "LEADING" manufacturer of Custom Crafted Lighthouses.
Each one of our lawn lighthouse ornaments is meticulously handcrafted from
synthetic stucco and masonry over a solid foam core making it virtually
impervious to the elements. Our lighthouses feature real decorative
windows with beautiful curtains in each window and a highly detailed six
panel door. Every yard & garden lighthouse is completely
hand-painted. We specialize in replicating the actual lighthouse,
but we will custom paint any of our lighthouses to match your personal
choice or decor. Each lighthouse comes with a standard light, or you
may upgrade to wide array of Accessories.
The Lighthouse Man offers the largest selection of "Accessories"
on the market today. We feature revolving beacons, solar beacons, Low
Voltage lights, Blinking lights, LED Light-UP Windows, Remote Control
Switches and Timers, Foghorns, and even a Rock Base to anchor your
lighthouse on. |

Assateague
Island, Chincoteague, VA
Built: 1867
Assateague
is located just south of the Maryland / Virginia border in the
Chincoteague wildlife refuse. Its surroundings are beautiful and well
worth the trip. This lighthouse shares the neighborhood with assorted
wildlife including wild horses.
This tower was
light in October of 1867 and serves to warn mariners of the dangerous
shoals that extend from the shores of Virginia and Maryland.
