**Most Asked Question:** What is the difference between the Liteman Revolving Beacon and Beacon 01? The Liteman Beacon only has (1) one Fresnel Lense and Beacon 01 has (3) three lenses. We also slowed down the revolutions per minute on the Liteman making it more authentic looking!!!

Large Revolving Beacon: This is our most industrial beacon we offer. This beacon is perfect for large lighthouses or any application where a bright revolving light is needed. This is the beacon we use in all of our large lighthouses. Features a mirror revolving backer and a 35 watt halogen bulb. This beacon can be seen from up to 10-15 miles away depending on your location. This is the next best thing to a real fresnel beacon, but is about $30 thousand less. Measurements: 8"W x 8"L x 8"H, Revolves approximately 12 times per minute. |
Replacement Parts for Revolving Beacons
Please note:
1) The halogen bulbs are much brighter but they also burn much hotter. So Do-it-yourself customers please make sure you allow for proper ventilation for the heat to escape. If not you could damage your light. If you have one of our Deluxe or E-line lighthouses we recommend that you remove the rubber gasket on the glass. This will allow the heat to exit the light.
2) If you already have one of our stucco lighthouses and you want to add or replace a revolving beacon please let us know so we can do a slight modification to the beacon base plate so it will fit inside the top housing of your lighthouse.
